NUACA EXPANDS COOPERATION WITH RUSSIAN ACADEMIC AND HUMANITARIAN STRUCTURE

Recently, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenian hosted a delegation led by Vadim Fefilov, Head of the Representation of the Federal Agency of International Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States and Compatriots Abroad (“Rossotrudnichestvo”) in Armenia, as well as Arseny Pronin, Head of the Representation of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Russian Humanitarian Mission” in Armenia.

Welcoming the guests, NUACA Rector Manuk Barseghyan emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial and effective cooperation between the University and universities and organizations of the Russian Federation in academic, scientific, and cultural directions.

As a result of the donation made by the partners, the University was replenished with the latest professional literature, in line with the needs previously presented by the relevant Faculties. It was noted that the process of replenishing the library fund will be continuous, and its expansion is envisaged in the near future.

At the same time, Vadim Fefilov presented Rector Manuk Barseghyan with a letter of appreciation from the Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo agency Yevgeny Primakov, for his significant contribution to the development of Russian-Armenian friendly relations, effective cooperation with the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Yerevan, as well as his active participation in the implementation of academic, cultural and humanitarian programs.

In this context, the activities of the “Russian Language Center” operating at NUACA were also highlighted, which is an effective academic and cultural platform, contributing to the development of students’ linguistic and cultural abilities, participation in international programs, and strengthening ties with the Russian academic and cultural environment.

At the end of the Meeting, the parties agreed to continue and deepen cooperation by organizing student summer schools in the near future, implementing exchange programs, as well as ensuring the active involvement of students and young specialists in international and cultural festivals.
