Recently, an event dedicated to the completion of the reinforced concrete construction of the new building of the High School of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the “Roof Festival,” took place. This beautiful tradition, which is being introduced into Armenian construction culture for the second time, symbolizes not only the completion of important stages of work, but also the celebration of creative spirit, team effort, and responsibility.
The Event was attended by NUACA Management, led by Rector Manuk Barseghyan, as well as representatives of partner organizations.
President of the Armenian Association of Developers Gurgen Grigoryan noted in his speech: “Today we are witnessing another manifestation of responsibility: the “Roof Festival” of the building of NUACA High School, funded and successfully underway by the Firdus Prime Residence project. The construction stage of the building has already been completed, and we can say that this is one of the best examples of our urban development culture. As a representative of the building, I welcome such events and am very happy that today we are witnessing the actual implementation of another successful milestone of that investment program.”
Head of the Firdus Prime Residence Company Artak Makaryan added in his speech: “I extend my gratitude to everyone for being with us today. This stage is significant for us not only in terms of construction, but also in terms of human relations. The best model of cooperation was formed with NUACA based on mutual respect and effective work. All this was made possible thanks to a professional team, which ensures the quality and progress of the project through daily work. I am truly proud to be a part of this important initiative.”
NUACA Chief of the Staff Paylak Karapetyan emphasized the unique format of cooperation: “This is one of the effective examples of state-university-private cooperation. This building is living proof of this. I extend my gratitude to all the specialists, designers, builders and our graduates who have contributed not only to this program, but also to the numerous projects of our country, which are being implemented in Yerevan and the Marzes.”
The new building is being constructed by combining architectural aesthetics, functional solutions, and safe construction standards. The building is envisaged to be commissioned in the 2027 academic year.
