Students of the Faculty of Design have achieved significant success in the XXXIII International Review-Contest (МООСАО), which took place in Yekaterinburg this year. Eight graduation works and seven theses from the Industrial Design, Graphic Design, and Environmental Design academic programmes were submitted to this prestigious Contest, which best reflected the students’ professional skills, creative thinking, and innovative approaches. During the Contest, the projects of the students of the Faculty of Design caught the attention of the jury with bold solutions and modern approaches, receiving high praise from the Committee.
During the solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas, Dean of the Faculty of Design Artashes Melikyan delivered a welcoming speech. In his speech, he highly appreciated the students’ achievements, emphasizing the importance of presenting themselves on such international platforms and standing out in a competitive environment. Professor Melikyan noted: “The achievements of our students not only testify to their personal achievements, but also reflect the high level of academic programmes of our University, the dedicated work of the academic staff, and modern approaches that contribute to the development of the field.”
11 students were awarded with first class diplomas, some of whom also received additional special diplomas. 4 students were awarded with second class diplomas.
Assistant at the Chair of Interior and Exterior Design, PhD in Architecture Arsen Mkrtchyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Design Mariam Papyan, and Lecturer at the Chair of Design Ashot Odabashyan were awarded with Laureate Diplomas for the supervision of the best graduation works.
