NUACA delegation participated in the International Program entitled “Expanded Horizons for Creative Opportunities” held at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara in Italy within the framework of the Erasmus KA171 ICM international mobility programme. Among the Delegation were Professor at the Chair of Architectural Design and Design of Architectural Environment Anahit Vardanyan, Chief Specialist of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation Zhanna Hakobyan, and 4 students. Lecturers and students of leading universities in Spain, Slovenia, Romania, Greece, Albania, and Montenegro also participated in the Program.
The main goal of the Program was to be able to apply modern neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and modern professional programmes in the development and design concepts of the architectural environment. In particular, the participants were offered to study and develop a conceptual proposal for the development of the area adjacent to the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara and for the design of the public environment.
All team works completed during the week generated great interest and were presented to an international jury. In the future, all the works will be the basis for the programmes to be implemented by the city authorities.
An agreement was reached with the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara in Italy and the National Technical University of Athens to submit joint applications within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme in the direction of the implementation of the mobility programmes of academic staff and students. In addition, the possibility of joint graduation works is under discussion.
