NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Recently, the 25^th RA Student Sports Games have taken place. In this annual inter-university rapid chess tournament, NUACA Chair of Physical Education and Sports presented two teams: the girls’ team and the boys’ team. In the Competition of female students among ten participating universities, the 3^rd bronze place was taken by the girls’ team of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the 2^nd place was taken by the team of Russian-Armenian University, and the 1^st place was taken by the team of American University of Armenia.

The University was represented by a first-class student of the Faculty of Management and Technology Anna Poghosyan, and a first-class student of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology Mary Tadevosyan, under the leadership of Coach and international female grandmaster Lilit Galoyan.

NUACA has also achieved success in the field of arm wrestling. Student of the Faculty of Management and Technology Gor Aksaryan is participating in the RA Student Games for the third time. At the 23^rd sports games, Gor took the 2^nd place in arm wrestling, in the 24^th sports games, he took the 2^nd place again, and this year already the 1^st honourary place.

We should also add that  in 2021, Gor Askaryan was the arm wrestling champion of Armenia in both right and left hands.
