University with a 100-Year History
The cultural and educational programme “Media School of Young Compatriots” under the Government of Moscow was held in Armenia, which was attended by Yeva Hayrapetyan, a first-year student of the “Service” specialty of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology. Within the framework of the programme, a competition was organized among the participants to present a video on the topic “A Visit to Armenia” as a final work. Yeva Hayrapetyan won the competition and during the ceremony concluding the one-week course she was awarded with a diploma by Dmitry Kozhaev, the General Director of “Moscow House of Compatriots”.
The programme was organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow and the Moscow House of Compatriots. 170 applicants from 32 countries applied to participate in the Media School. As a result of the competition, 60 participants from 15 countries of the CIS, Europe, Africa and the Middle East arrived in Yerevan.
The speakers were representatives of the journalistic and expert community of the media sphere and lecturers from leading Russian universities. Within the framework of the programme, educational master classes, intellectual quizzes, quests, cultural events were organized on the topics of working with media, project promotion skills in social networks, working with the frame, creating video and text content in various formats.
