PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKSHOP WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF ERASMUS+ FLEXWBL PROJECT

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ FlexWBL Project, a 5-day workshop dedicated to policy development issues for the introduction of work-based learning at the university was held from February 20 to 24 at the Private University College of Education, Diocese Linz, Austria. From National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, the workshop was attended by the Head of the Chair of Economics, Law and Management Tatevik Yedoyan, the Head of the Department of Academic Programmes, Siranush Egnatosyan, Chief Specialist of the Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance Department Ani Hakobyan, and the Head of the Center for Languages Siranush Hovhannisyan.

In the opening session of the workshop, Siranush Hovhannisyan presented the information related to NUACA organizational structure, management, academic programmes, students, and academic staff. During the workshop, the current status of the Erasmus+ FlexWBL Project was presented and discussed. Within the framework of the Project, Mrs. T. Yedoyan delivered a report on NUACA activities, emphasizing the implementation process of the changes to be made to the curricula of the relevant academic programmes, the importance of spreading information about the Project, as well as a comparative analysis of the implementation mechanisms of the Erasmus+ FlexWBL Project of partner organizations. Issues related to monitoring and quality improvement activities, as well as educational-supporting materials and ways of cooperation with partner organizations were addressed. A visit to the Ars Electronica Center in Linz was organized, as well as a cultural visit to Salzburg, Austria.

The Project management team discussed and set a schedule for further online and face-to-face meetings and deadlines for the submission of required documents.

A cooperation proposal was received from the coordinating university of the FlexWBL Project – Liepaja University, Latvia. A presentation package for the Erasmus+ KA107 mobility programme was developed in the field of information technology.

At the end of the Project, the parties emphasized the effectiveness of the workshop and expressed hope that during the next workshops, even more extensive discussions will be held regarding the successful progress of the works done within the framework of the Project.
