Today the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and the Armenian State University of Economics signed an agreement based on the contract signed by them on the 1st of June 2017.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the RA Minister of Education and Science Mr. Levon Mkrtchyan, NUACA and ASUE Provosts Gagik Galstyan and Koryun Atoyan, a representative from Yerevan Municipality, vice-rectors, professors, faculty members, students and guests.
By signing the agreement a joint master degree program on “Project Management in the Spheres of Tourism and Real Estate” was launched. The program is based on already signed contract among the NUACA, ASUE and Polytechnic University of Valencia, hence should be vitalized by all three educational institutions.
The attendees got acquainted with the background history and the idea of the program, its provisions, implementation tools and objectives. In the framework of the tripartite agreement based on Erasmus+ HERITAG project signed among the three universities the MA degree seeking students will study at the NUACA and ASUE for the first year and at the Polytechnic University of Valencia for the second year, hence obtaining double diploma.
Minister Mkrtchyan believed that the initiative is unprecedented as it involved two Armenian and a foreign educational institutions proving that Armenia is in charge of educational progress. Greeting project hosts, the Minister noticed that it will promote new professional directions, as well as it will bring the graduates closer to the labour market. He urged to implement the same approach also at our regional universities.
Provosts of the Universities also delivered welcome speeches. They branded their project as an honorable and obliging, being hopeful that their joint efforts will have a smooth flow and productive resolution.
