WORKS OF NUACA STUDENTS WERE PRESENTED AT THE ARTISTS’ UNION OF ARMENIA

Recently, a student exhibition organized by NUACA Chair of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture took place at the Artists’ Union of Armenia. The best student works of recent years were presented in the Ara Sargsyan Exhibition Hall.

President at Artists’ Union of Armenia Suren Safaryan delivered an opening speech at the Exhibition: “When we heard about the initiative of the Exhibition for the first time, we gave our consent to hold it here without hesitation. We are happy to announce that we are ready to come up with similar projects in the future, as we attach great importance to the cooperation, especially with young creators. This exhibition is particularly valuable because the presented works were created within the framework of the educational process, but their finished appearance is a testament to a high level of creativity. We can confidently say that these works bring honour to both the Artists’ Union of Armenia and National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. I extend my congratulations to all of us on this beautiful and significant Exhibition.”

Rector of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Manuk Barseghyan delivered a welcoming speech. In his speech, Mr. Barseghyan noted: “I extend my congratulations to all of us on this important and beautiful event. I would like to extend my deep gratitude to Mr. Safaryan and the Artists’ Union of Armenia for providing our University with such an opportunity. This Event is a wonderful opportunity to present the creative potential of our students to the public and value their works. On behalf of the University, I can confidently note that such initiatives, which contribute to the development of our students’ knowledge, abilities and professional skills, will be regular from now on.

In particular, I would like to emphasize the significant role of the Chair led by Razmik Harutyunyan. They organized this Exhibition with great dedication and responsibility.

The Exhibition was yet another testament to the fact that creativity and art thrive in an environment where the combination of education, cooperation, and youth potential is valued.

National University of Architecture and Construction will continue to encourage the organization of events in this format, attaching importance to the role of art in the educational process and on the path to student success.”
