NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Today, at the National University of Architecture and Construction, Jurgis Baltrušaitis Award Ceremony was held.

Master degree student of the Faculty of Architecture, Vardges Shahmanendyan, who presented the project dedicated to the historical and architectural heritage of Gyumri, its preservation and revival, received a certificate and monetary reward>

Let us remind you that the Jurgis Baltrušaitis Award has been established by the Foundation named after Petros Aloyan, in cooperation with the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia and the National University of Architecture and Construction>

NUACA Rector Gagik Galstyan, Acting Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia Nida Dalmantaite , President of the Armenian Union of Architects Mkrtich Minasyan, Director of the “Petros Aloyan Foundation” Hayk Aloyan, the Head of the Union of Builders of Armenia Gurgen Minasyan, “Horizon-95” and “Kamurjshin> Company representatives, vice-rectors and deans were present at the award ceremony.

Summarizing the competition, Hayk Aloyan maintained that the quality and level of works presented by our University students are incomparable.

Highly appreciating the former ambassador Erikas Petrikas’ works and efforts in the creation of compitition, Nida Dalmantaite  highlighted the continuation of such an initiative to preserve the historical and cultural heritage.
