From 1 to 6 December, the Assistant of Economics, Law and Management Department at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia Hermine Samvelyan was on a working visit in Moscow at the invitation of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the business trip was to attend the International Volunteer Conference organized by the agency. 500 international delegates from 120 countries took part in the conference on the creation and development of the culture of volunteer work, as well as the cooperation and the creation of favorable conditions for representatives of youth public, educational organizations and professional circles.
Within the framework of the conference, Hermine Samvelyan also participated in the “Volunteer of the Year” final award ceremony, during which Russian President Vladimir Putin made a speech.
The working visit was also full of prospective and constructive meetings. Hermine Samvelyan met with representatives of the “Capitan” organization. The latter carries out educational activities aimed at developing entrepreneurship skills, as well as periodically organizes “My First Business” competition, which has already participated in 53 countries. As a result of the meeting, a cooperation program has been elaborated, which envisages holding several joint events in Yerevan and Moscow.
