The extended session of the Chair of Engineering Geodesy at the Faculty of Construction was of special importance today. Colleagues remembered, honored, and talked about a dedicated specialist, good person and friend, former head of the chair, Venera Margaryan. David Grigoryan, Dean of the Construction Faculty, and Suren Tovmasyan, Chairman of the Engineering Geodesy presented the basic content of the session.
David Khanaghyan – 3rd year student of the Construction Faculty with specialization in Engineering Geodesy. He is the student who got the Venera Margaryan Excellence Award.
The idea of a scholarship for the next 10 years belongs to Margaryan’s nieces, who seek to keep their aunt’s name, reputation, and years of dedicated work alive.
Each year, the nominal scholarship will be awarded to the student who has shown the best progress in the mentioned faculty. “The award is obligatory” – said David Khanaghyan and promised to do everything possible to keep the name and specialty of Mrs. Margaryan at the proper level.
