NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

In cooperation with the the Francophone University Agency (AUF), within the framework of the events organized during the Bi-Monthly Francophonie Program, a three-day training course entitled “Tourism before and after COVID-19” was held at the University with the participation of third-year students of “Tourism” Specialty at the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology. The training course was conducted by Meri Barseghyan, Specialist at the Policy Development and Implementation Division of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation. During the course, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with tourism issues conditioned by COVID-19, industry transformations, current challenges, the peculiarities and requirements of the Armenian labour market, skills for young professionals to present themselves in a beneficial way during interviews, skills of writing a CV in a presentable way, as well as employment opportunities in the professional field. During the exchange of ideas, the students participating in the training course presented their experience of working in the field, the emerged difficulties and issues, and attempts were made to find solutions to overcome those issues.

At the end of the training course, all participant students were awarded with certificates of participation and incentive gifts.
