THE WINNERS OF THE POSTER COMPETITION DEDICATED TO THE VICTORY DAY WERE AWARDED AT NUACA

The solemn awarding ceremony of the winners of the poster competition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and jointly organized with the Russian Scientific and Cultural Center in Yerevan took place at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

The theme of the Competition was “The Contribution of the Armenian People to the Defeat of Fascism.” Dozens of students participated in the creative initiative, whose works emphasized the values ​​of remembrance, respect, and historical justice.

The winners of the Competition are:

  • Mary Margaryan with the poster “Kochar near the Reichstag”,
  • Seryozha Mikaelyan with a work inspired by the story of her great-grandfather and Hero of the Soviet Union Nelson Stepanyan,
  • Anzhelika Andreasyan with a poster in which she embodied the image of her great-grandfather and the strength passed down from generation to generation in the War.

The participants of the Competition mentioned that they were guided not only by historical facts, but also by their family memories, expressing pride and spiritual struggle through posters.

The winning and best works were presented on billboards in the center of Yerevan, as well as placed in the carriages of the South Caucasus Railways, spreading the message of peace to a wide circle of the public.
