THE WAR THROUGH THE EYES OF OUR VOLUNTEER STUDENT

They say that war is a phenomenon that has nothing to do with emotions, you have to act cold-heartedly, think, first of all, about surviving.
The severe war that broke out on September 27th made everyone act. Thousands of Armenian sons, including many students of our University, went to the front and swore to save the Homeland even at the cost of their own lives.
A fourth-year student of the Faculty of Management and Technology Samvel Khlghatyan is one of the volunteers who has been on the front line since the first days of the war. During the conversation he was tense, as if he was thinking about what to tell and what to skip.
He says, “War is a real chaos, where you have to be able to survive.“ It is impossible to give a clear and precise description of the war, you have to feel it on your own skin, see it with your own eyes and hear the sound of explosions with your own ears.
However, no matter how much these explosions deafen the sound of all kinds of emotions, 24-year-old Samvel admits that it is there that you begin to truly appreciate every moment you live, to value the people around you, at least mentally, but to make tangible all those dreams and future actions, the realization of which you were constantly delaying. “Everyday life becomes unusual and unique,” confesses Samvel.
There is no alternative to the fact that we will win, but Samvel is sure that you win the biggest victory in the war against yourself, your inner fears and anxieties. And already on the battlefield the enemy is visible, patriotism is in your veins, and your strong friends are by your side.
Are there any interesting or heroic episodes from the battlefield? His eyes do not lie, of course, there are some that Samvel does not want to talk about right now. But he is sure that he will be on the frontline again after the recovery.
