NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
Many students of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) replaced their student auditoriums with trenches during the war to defend our country. Highly appreciating the patriotic deed of the students, by the decision of the University Rectorate, a total of 185 students from the faculties of Architecture, Construction, Design, Urban Economy and Ecology, Management and Technology, as well as NUACA College have been awarded diplomas by the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
“On behalf of the entire staff of the University, I thank each of you for your investment and contribution to the defense of our Homeland. No matter who was in which area, whether he was delivering bread to the trench or fighting on the frontline, for us all of our boys are heroes. In life, victories or defeats do not last forever. I am confident that our people will overcome this ordeal, and we, together with you and your generation, will build the Armenia our ancestors dreamed of, the Armenia we all want to see. Our people have always overcome difficulties, and the youth has always been the one to overcome them. We, in our turn, will do our best to provide you with a proper, high level education, so that boys like you- our students can get better and high quality education,” stated NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan in his speech before awarding the diplomas. He expressed special gratitude to the parents of the student-soldiers for raising patriotic sons.
At the beginning of the awarding ceremony, the memory of the soldiers, who fell heroically during the 44-day war, was honored with respect and a minute of silence.
