NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The professional committee of the Armenian School Science Festival summed up the results of the festival. 12 projects received encouragement awards, including the schoolchildren of the High School after M. Abeghyan of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. Information Technologies stream 11^th grade schoolchildren of the High School Gor Titanyan and Armen Meliksetyan, under the supervision of Physics teachers Tsovinar Smbatyan and Lianna Arustamyan, became award winners in the “Physics and Astronomy” category during the festival on the “Use of Non-Newtonian Fluid for Defense Purposes” topic.

The aim of the Armenian School Science Festival was to instill interest in scientific research among young people of school age, as well as to implement teamwork and innovative projects developing the skills for their presentation.

The schoolchildren of the middle and senior classes who participated in the festival, individually or in a group of two and with the support of a scientific supervisor, carried out self-nominated research projects during the 2022-2023 academic year, and presented the results of their research during the final stage.
