THE REPORTING SESSION OF YOUNG RESEARCHERS’ UNION

The Reporting Session of the Young Researchers’ Union was held at NUACA.

The Event started with the welcome speech delivered by NUACA Acting Rector Manuk Barseghyan. Mr. Barseghyan, emphasizing the importance of creating the Young Researchers’ Union, noted: “When the decision to create this Union was made, it was welcomed by everyone and formed as a platform that is a link between youth, students and science. This institution has an important mission to refresh the research activities of the University and create an environment where scientists and professors of the older generation can engage young people in the scientific field. It is especially important that this Union closely cooperates with the University students, promoting their interest in science and research.”

Afterwards, the Head of the Young Researchers’ Union Lilit Babayan presented the annual report, highlighting the results of the Summer School Program, which was the first major event of the Union. She noted: “This is not just an annual report but also a new and important step for us. Within the framework of the Program, we got acquainted with people involved in the scientific field, and all the programs we plan to implement may still be small, but I am sure that in the future, they will grow significantly, and the scientific sector of NUACA will become stronger and will develop in great strides.”

The Event was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University Vardges Yedoyan, Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Sargis Tovmasyan, Chief of the Staff Paylak Karapetyan, Deans of the Faculties, Heads of the Chairs and representatives of the Academic Staff, who presented observations on the activities and suggestions on the future plans of the Union.

At the end of the Meeting, all participants of the Summer School were awarded with certificates. This Event highlighted the importance of the Program of the Young Researchers, encouraging them to continue developing and deepening their involvement in scientific activities.
