NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

A meeting-discussion was held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia in regard to the planning processes of the Academic City.

The meeting was attended by NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan, Chairman of Higher Education and Science Committee Sargis Hayotsyan, Director of Academic City Foundation Armen Simonyan, the representatives of German “Gerkan, Marg, and Partners” Architectural Company Tobias Kayel and Johan Rabe, as well as the representatives of academic staff and students of the Faculty of Architecture.

During the meeting, the study conducted by NUACA on the proposed territories for the Academic City, the upcoming steps, in particular, the development of the master plan for the construction of the Academic City, components ensuring the functionality of the clusters, infrastructure and other issues have been discussed.

It was agreed to continue the works according to the predetermined schedule.
