Our students’ love and devotion to the Homeland are unwavering and limitless… Unfortunately, some of them were immortalized in the battles for the defense of the Homeland in the war unleashed by Azerbaijan and Turkey against Artsakh. They could not fulfill their dream to become a constructor. Vahan Mikhail Grigoryan was among them.

Patriotic hero Vahan was born on July 23, 2000 in Yerevan. In 2017 he graduated from High School N182 after Gevorg Emin and in the same year he entered the Faculty of Construction of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

In January 2019, he was drafted into the Armenian army. He served in the anti-tank battalion of the Martuni-2 military unit in the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh.

On September 27, 2020, he took part in the battles in Martuni, Varanda (Fizuli) regions. On October 22 he contacted his relatives for the last time.

He fell on October 23 by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle, taking the path of immortality.
