NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The 18th blitz chess girls’ tournament of the Armenian universities took place on March 27-29. Our university’s team had a tough competition with 10universities’ team members and won the second place, after the team of the YSU. Meanwhile, Siranush Ghukasyan of our University playing ofirst chessboard earned 9 points in the 9th tournament, winning all participants.

We congratulate our female chess players Siranush Ghukasyan, Nare Araqelyan, Lilit Khachatryan and Anush Harutyunyan as well as the international grandmaster, chief chess coach of our University chess team Lilit Galoyan and the acting head of the NUACA Physical Education and Sport Chair Hakob Badalyan, wishing them newer victories.
