The exhibition of works by the lecturers of the NUACA Chair of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture was opened today. The goal was unique designed to strengthen the dialogue between the educators and students, however the impact and importance were really multifaceted. The admired and proud glances of the students showed that the exhibition touched them.

Welcoming the attendees, Rector Gagik GALSTYAN noticed that this exhibition is a unique, more visual and educational conference. That was an environment where every student has the opportunity to unveil their educators from his personal point of view.

“This exhibition has a double meaning,” said the popular RA artist, sculptor Levon TOKMAJYAN. Seeing the lecturers’ works, the student trusts his educators and their words more. The distinguished artist of Armenia Hrant TADEVOSYAN also stressed that only theoretical lectures are not effective. It is important for the student to recognize his educator also as an individual and an artist.

Gagik HOVHANNISYAN, head of the Chair of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture, thanked the audience and spoke about the idea and purpose of the exhibition. Mr. HOVHANNISYAN expressed his desire that such exhibitions’ were traditional.
