NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

A delegation from the University of Bologna arrived at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia for a 5-day mission. The representative of the MAF of Italy Rita GONELLLI, the professors of the Faculty of Cultural Heritage and Architecture Marianjello VANDINI, Marco PRETELLI, Marco ORLAND, and Anna SHIRINYAN of the Chair of Armenology were hosted at the NUACA.

At our university the Italian delegation met by the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Arev SAMUELYAN, the NUACA Rector Gagik GALSTYAN and faculty members.

The Armenian-Italian cultural cooperation has a long history in the context of the preservation of cultural heritage. This visit was among the traditional ones.

By welcoming the guests, Rector GALSTYAN mentioned that many projects have already been implemented as a part of the cooperation agreement between our University and the University of Bologna. He believed that this working visit aimed at preservation of the cultural heritage will also be beneficial and productive.

The Italian professors thanked for a warm reception, noting that they feel at home in Armenia. After the meeting, the guests toured at the NUACA and visited the lab for the monuments’ surveying and diagnostics.
