THE INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL “ROAD #1” WAS HELD AT MADI

Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) united young scientists and lecturers from the CIS and Near Abroad countries on the platform of the International Summer School.

For 6 days, 49 delegates from the CIS member states – the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, got acquainted with the prospective directions of the development of the Russian transport complex and various aspects of social and cultural life in Moscow.

A rich program was prepared for the participants of the International Summer School, which included interactive lectures and seminars, master classes and business games at MADI faculties, as well as meetings with representatives of the State Duma, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the transport complex of the capital. Visits to industry enterprises, museums and exhibitions, as well as excursions and tours around Moscow were carried out.

The academic programme of the Summer School consisted of four directions: “Road Construction and Infrastructure”, “Machines and Complexes”, “General Transport Issues”, and “Digital Transformation in the Management, Technology and Techniques of the Transport Complex”, which the delegates chose according to their scientific and pedagogical interests.

National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) was represented by Tigran Sargsyan in the direction of “Road Construction and Infrastructure” and Armen Harutyunyan in the direction of “Digital Transformation in the Management, Technology and Techniques of the Transport Complex” at MADI International Summer School “Road #1”.

The International Summer School “Road #1” was held within the framework of the “New Generation” Flagship Youth Program of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

Armen Harutyunyan, a participant of the Summer School, emphasized the important role of the training in professional accomplishment, and Tigran Sargsyan added in his speech that colleagues were willing to help them in any professional matter and were always open to cooperation.
