NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Today, the annual meeting of the “Association of the Armenian Developers” NGO  was held. The meeting was attended by NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan, the Association’s partners from the Government represented by the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan, the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Armen Ghularyan, the Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan, the representatives of the member companies of the Association, the representatives of the management of “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC and other guests.

During the meeting, the report of the works carried out by the Association in 2022 was presented, the challenges in the field of urban development, in general, and in the field of development, in particular, were addressed. Current sectoral issues were also presented: problems related to supplier organizations, issues related to the renovation of the dangerous building stock and the Association’s visions, as well as the works implemented and to be implemented jointly with the legislative and executive bodies aimed at solving them, the prospects for the enhancement of the development sector and the necessary measures.

A special reference was made to the problem of gas supply in Yerevan and the works implemented and planned for its solution.

The University started cooperation with the Association back in 2021 and today the University also considers the “Association of the Armenian Developers” as a key sector partner. Taking into account the proposals of the Association, the “Construction Project Management” academic programme was launched at the University. A BIM laboratory will be opened in the near future, and the “BIM Expert” and “BIM Manager” academic programmes will be launched in September, which will be implemented in cooperation with our international partner universities.
