NUACA Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan welcomed the guests and presented the activities and cooperations of the University. Mr. Vardanyan noted: “Our University is a member of a number of international university consortia. The cooperation with Czech universities and organizations started with Ostrava University of Technology in 2014 by jointly organizing and conducting the 6th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Architecture and Construction. I attach great importance to the expansion of academic and scientific cooperation with partner organizations in the Czech Republic, and with your mediation we are ready to further deepen bilateral relations.”

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic Petr Pirunčík started his speech with a word of appreciation. Mr. Petr Pirunčík noted: “I must admit that I was quite informed about the University before visiting, but what I saw today was quite impressive. I am sure that your University has all the opportunities to cooperate with Czech universities, and I express my readiness to support this matter in every possible way. I attach great importance to innovation and scientific-research work. Seeing the dynamic activity of your University in the international arena, I suggest you participate in the scientific, innovative, grant and other competitions announced by the foundations operating in our country, where I am sure you will also be successful.”

Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan attached great importance to the cooperation with the International Visegrad Fund, noting that appropriate steps are already being taken for cooperation with the fund, as the fund supports the development of cultural, scientific and educational potential through university grant and scholarship programmes.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Vardanyan and People’s Painter, NUACA Professor Hrant Tadevosyan presented gifts to the guests as a beautiful token from National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.
