NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The 5^th United Eurasian Congress was held. The Congress was held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Public Council adjacent to the latter, Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, “DOM.RF” JSC, Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow City, Department of Construction of Moscow City, as well as other state and non-governmental organizations. The event was very significant for construction industry experts, where they were able to get acquainted with the results of the introduction of digital technologies in construction of the first five-year period.

The solemn part of the Congress began with handing over the departmental awards by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation. The presenter of the awards was the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation Alexander Nikolai Lomakin. The event was attended by representatives of Armenia. From National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, lecturer of the Chair of Technology and Organization of Construction Production Ashot Mkhitaryan participated in the event.

The Congress summarized the results of BIM introduction in the areas of planning, construction, and further service of buildings, during which the implementation and approval processes of projects based on the BIM model were presented.

Great attention is also paid to the work on digital construction management.
