NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA
University with a 100-Year History
The Secondary Vocational Education College of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia celebrated its 100th anniversary. The ceremony was attended by Garnik Stepanyan, NUACA Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Hovsep Hoveyan, NUACA Chief of the Staff, Anahit Hovhannisyan, Director of the Secondary Vocational Education College, and the College employees of different years.
In her welcome speech the Director of the College Anahit Hovhannisyan, looking back at the past of the College, highlighted its successes and achievements, and wished good luck to the College, its devoted staff and students.
Vice-Rector G. Stepanyan congratulated on this special day on behalf of NUACA Rector and on his own behalf, noting that the basis of the College activity is the combination of tradition and innovation, which determines all the accomplishments. He mentioned that the University always
emphasizes the importance of the role of Secondary Vocational Education and values the knowledge that students receive in College.
Hrant Tadevosyan, Honorary Painter of the Republic of Armenia, made a speech, noting: “I am happy and proud to have made my contribution in the history of the College. I believe in the future of the College and wish new achievements and great success to the College and its staff.”
Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of paintings by College students and graduates of different years was organized.
All those who spared no effort and energy in the development of the College with their daily work were honored within the scope of the event dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of the College. At the event, a group of College teachers were awarded with Certificates for their fruitful pedagogical activities.
