Undergraduate students of the Faculty of Management and Technology of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, Luiza Mkrtchyan (2nd year) and Armine Hakobyan (3rd year), were invited to participate in the “Digital Interactive Media Design” international competition-training held in China. The students received the invitation as a result of their participation in the Worldskills 2024 Olympiad held in Lyon, France.
The Event combined competitive and educational components, including professional courses and practical tasks, as well as cultural programs. In the competitive part, students were involved in four thematic modules: Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop), video editing, digital illustrations, and collaboration-work with a client. At the end, the participants also presented their projects in an interactive format.
About 15 students from China, Brazil, Armenia and other Asian countries participated in the Competition. Only NUACA students Luiza Mkrtchyan and Armine Hakobyan participated in the Event from Armenia. Luiza Mkrtchyan was awarded with the second prize-winning place, while Armine Hakobyan took fifth place and was awarded with the medal of excellence, which is given to participants who showed high results but did not take a prize-winning place.
Such initiatives promote international cooperation among students, expanding their professional experience, and representing the University on the global platform.
