The 2nd-year students majoring in “Service” specialty of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenian participated in a lecture at the Tourism Department of the Southern Federal University (Rostov), which was conducted by Doctor, Professor Olga Ivleva.
Professor Ivleva presented the tourist infrastructure of Rostov-on-Don, including museums, hotels and catering establishments. She also touched upon the developing directions of culture and ecotourism, emphasizing their importance in strengthening the tourism field of the Region. The speaker especially attached importance to the rich history of Russian-Armenian cultural ties, emphasizing the fact that the prominent Armenian painter Martiros Saryan and the writer, publicist, poet, and public figure Mikayel Nalbandian were born in the city, which represents great historical and cultural value for them.
The lecture was held in an interactive format, accompanied by intensive discussions and Q&A sessions. NUACA students demonstrated high activity, interest, and deep knowledge, on which the mentor spoke with admiration about their level of preparation.
At the end of the Meeting, Professor Ivleva kindly invited NUACA students to their University for a professional internship. She noted that they are ready to provide practical training for the students in hotel complexes and tourist organizations in Rostov-on-Don and accompany it with cognitive and cultural excursions, which will be an effective continuation of the educational process.
After the course, students received their certificates of participation in NUACA, proving not only their involvement in the international cooperation process, but also the new knowledge and valuable experience in professional communication they gained.
