NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Karen Trchunyan visited the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

The Deputy Minister was introduced to the University environment, its activity and toured around the scientific and educational laboratories of the University. Within the scope of the visit, the programs for the prospective development of the University and the issues related to improving the quality of education were discussed. In particular, the parties have touched upon the issues of international cooperation and providing accommodations with the purpose of involving foreign students of different specialties. The capabilities of the University, concerning the future of different specialties in Armenia, were highlighted; what kind of specialties may emerge or what specialties may be changed.

State policy development issues related to the strategy of providing principles of free education and quality staff training, as well as developing the University in the directions of education, science and research, were discussed.

In this regard, Deputy Minister K. Trchunyan especially emphasized the importance of implementing startups, ”All the efforts must be put into bringing the innovative knowledge into reality and turning it into a result.”
