NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

We regretfully inform that the Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Temur Gevorg Margaryan has passed away at the age of 85. He was honoured with the highest state awards.  

The professor is recognized as a great expert as well as a great man who devoted his entire life to the development of urban planning and the mission of educating generations.

Temur Margaryan had been the Head of Scientific and Technical Department of the RA Ministry of Urban Development, and since 2006, Dr. Professor of the Chair of “Building Structures” of National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA). He has an invaluable contribution to the field of scientific achievements in building constructions, seismic-resistant construction, the examination, restoration, and enhancement of the technical condition of the buildings and structures. Further, he has carried out diverse research projects and works as well he is the author of more than 110 published works and 6 inventions.
