PROFESSOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SALZBURG DELIVERED LECTURES AT NUACA

As part of the Erasmus+ international mobility programme between the University of Salzburg and NUACA, Jasmine Dum-Tragut, Head of the Research Centre for Studies of Christian East, University of Salzburg, Head of the Department of Armenian Studies, Professor of Armenian Studies and General Linguistics, delivered lectures at NUACA.

Professor Dum-Tragut addressed the following topics in his lectures:

  • “The Arakelots Monastery Complex and Residence. From Oblivion to Discovery. 7 Endangered Historic Sites of Europe within the Framework of the Europa Nostra 2025 Programme. Eyewitness Impression”,
  • “Syunik Shinuhayr Monastery, Shnher Nunnery: Research/Presentation of Cultural Heritage, Manuscripts, History”,
  • “Preservation of Cultural Heritage: Interdisciplinary Approaches”.

The lectures were held in a Q&A format, and during the meeting with representatives of the University Management, the possibilities of expanding academic cooperation through joint research and exchange programmes were discussed.
