NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The regional seminar on “Common Expert Space: Current Patent Issues” was held in Yerevan with the participation of Head of NUACA Chair of Design and Professor Ashot Baghdasaryan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Design Tamara Tuysuzyan and Associate Professor at the Chair of Design, PhD in Arts Ani Acharyan. The Seminar was organized by the Eurasian Patent Office together with the Office of Intellectual Property of the RA Ministry of Economy, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

At the opening ceremony, Head of the Office of Intellectual Property of the RA Ministry of Economy Kristine Hambaryan, President of the Eurasian Patent Office Grigory Ivliev, and others delivered welcome speeches.

The agenda of the Seminar covered a wide range of topics, from the examination of inventions with elements of artificial intelligence to issues related to Graphic and Industrial Design. A discussion was held on the examination of designs containing elements of protected trademarks and copyright objects.
