NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The 29th International Competition-Review of Architecture and Design Graduation Papers organized by the Interregional Non-Governmental Organization for the Promotion of Architectural Education (МООСАО) took place and was attended by students of the Faculties of Architecture and Design of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia as well.

Rector Yeghiazar Vardanyan, Deans and Heads of Chairs handed diplomas to the participants. As the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G. Stepanyan mentioned, this year’s participation was unprecedented considering the difficulties created by the pandemic, remote format of the competition and high appraisal and appreciation expressed by the representatives of the participating universities.

Thus, students from the Faculty of Architecture Lilit Tamazyan (Supervisor: Karen Azatyan), Gor Galoyan (Supervisor: Mher Cherkezyan), Angela Sargsyan (Supervisor: Koryun Abgaryan), Karlen Karapetyan (Supervisor: Aram Gurgenyan), Arpine Aylanjyan (Supervisor: Anna Yengoyan), Inga Mirzoyan (Supervisor: Karen Azatyan), Iveta Baghdasaryan (Supervisor: Anna Hakobyan) and Anush Ohanyan (Supervisor: Aram Gurgenyan) were awarded 1st class honorary diplomas, and Marianna Aydinyan (Supervisor: Anna Yengoyan) and Nelly Aghekyan (Supervisor: Katrin Khanoyan) were awarded 2nd class diplomas. From the Faculty of Design, students Anush Abrahamyan (Supervisor: Patricia Karsyan), Gohar Arakelyan (Supervisor: Mariam Papyan), Mane Gabrielyan (Supervisor: Mariam Papyan), Anush Igityan (Supervisor: Stepan Mugnetsyan), Lilit Aghajanyan (Supervisor: Arevik Mkrtchyan), Diana Tadevosyan (Supervisor: Tamara Tuysuzyan) and Eleonora Margaryan (Supervisor: Artashes Melikyan) were awarded 1st class honorary diplomas and Mariam Yeghyan (Supervisor: Ruben Bubushyan), Maggie Tabiryan (Supervisor: Ruben Bubushyan), Sona Sirunyan (Supervisor: Artashes Melikyan) and Armine Petrosyan (Supervisor: Arevik Hakobyan) were awarded 2nd class diplomas.

Hovhannes Sanamyan, Arsen Aloyan, Hayk Asatryan were awarded honorary diplomas for exceptional supervision. Rector Y. Vardanyan congratulated the winners, thanked also their supervisors for their great efforts and for maintaining the high honor of the University in the international arena.
