NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The results of the 2020 University Student Architectural Competition of the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium member universities, organized within the framework of the Presidents’ Forum, were announced. NUACA students submitted 6 projects in two categories “Architectural Design” and “Constructive Design” (4 in “Architectural Design” and 2 in “Constructive Design”).

In the category of “Architectural Design”, NUACA students of the Faculty of Architecture Vahram Aghajanyan and Lernik Galstyan’s project “Concept of Revalorization of Mkhitaryan Monastery Library on St. Lazarus Island”, was awarded a diploma (supervisors: Professor Artyom Aloyan, Associate Professor Hovhannes Sanamyan). In the category of “Constructive Design”, NUACA student of the same faculty Marietta Gevorgyan’s project “Construction of a Hotel, a Bridge and a Multifunctional Complex in Jermuk” won the third prize and a monetary award (supervisor: Professor Hayk Asatryan).

Armen Shatvoryan, PhD in Architecture, Associate Professor, Acting Dean of NUACA Faculty of Architecture was among the Competition Committee members. He was awarded a diploma and a monetary award.
