On September 12, 2024, the requalification academic programme in “Engineering and Technical Expertise of Building Materials, Structures” was launched at NUACA, which was successfully completed last week. Twelve specialists participated in the training, and all of them have higher education in the fields of Hydraulic Structures, Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation, or Highway Construction.
Recent legislative amendments require that the higher education of responsible specialists in the field of Urban Planning fully align with the field of their professional activities. For example, organizations licensed to construct highways must have at least one responsible specialist who has completed training in the “Highways, Bridges, and Tunnels” academic programme. At the same time, specialists who have got such education, have the opportunity to be requalified in the “Engineering and Technical Expertise of Building Materials, Structures” programme. This will enable them to work in organizations licensed for the construction of residential, public, and industrial facilities or those applying for such a license.
The programme consisted of 11 courses, which the participants successfully completed. To receive a certificate, they must also complete Continuous Professional Development courses.
Specialists who completed the requalification programme have been awarded with certificates, opening up new opportunities for them in the field.
