The “Open Doors Days” were successfully held at National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA), which were intended for applicants to get acquainted with the academic environment, professional directions, and educational opportunities of the University.
During the Event, the participants had a tour around the Faculty corresponding to their preferred specialty and received detailed information about academic programmes, laboratory equipment, the educational process, as well as practical opportunities. The tours were accompanied by members of the Student Council and representatives of the Faculties, who presented the features of the professional fields, introduced the University, and answered questions of interest.
In addition, a quiz was organized for applicants from each Faculty, during which applicants had the opportunity to test both their attention during the tours and their knowledge of NUACA. For quick and correct answers, participants received symbolic gifts from the University.
Another important component of the Event was the participation of the speakers of the Faculties. Lecturers, students, and graduates from each Faculty shared their personal experience and told about the difficulties of studying at the University, the path of self-development, and the opportunities provided by NUACA. Their honest and inspiring stories helped applicants imagine their future at the University and strengthened their choice of specialty.
The Open Door Days were aimed to support applicants in choosing the right specialty and making an informed decision. The Event was an important step in strengthening the relationship between the University and future students.
