NUACA STUDENTS AS WINNERS IN EUROPEAN ONLINE BUSINESS NEGOTIATION (EOBN) COMPETITION

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ LISS 24 programme, National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, w participated in the European Online Business Negotiations (B2B) Championship (EOBN), which was held for the first time in this format. Students from universities in different countries, including National Polytechnic University of Armenia and Armenia National Agrarian University, participated in the Competition.

Within the framework of the Competition, students participated in realistic sales and negotiation masterclasses with experienced jury members from the business world, as well as had the opportunity to compete in an international environment, develop professional skills and increase their self-confidence.

About 60 students, including from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Romania, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, the USA, etc. participated in the Competition. Students Irena Simonyan and Tigran Stepanyan, who were representing NUACA, achieved excellent results.

The championship had two categories:

  • Elevator pitch,
  • Business negotiations (B2B sales).

Elevator pitch was a preparatory competition before the main competition Business Negotiations (B2B sales). In that Competition, our student Tigran Stepanyan became the winner of his group, but in the further struggle he could not pass to the final.

And in the Business Negotiations (B2B sales) Competition, our student Irena Simonyan became the winner of the European Online Business Negotiations (EOBN). She won his group, then in the semi-finals, and in the finals she competed with a student from the HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and became the winner of the championship.

NUACA supported the students by organizing their participation and carried out systematic work on their preparation. Head of the Center for Education Development and Innovation Varazdat Hovhannisyan, Head of the Chair of Economics, Law, and Management Tatevik Yedoyan, Head of the Continuing and Supplementary Education Department Lusine Harutyunyan, actively worked with and supported the students, contributing to the effective and confident engagement of the participants in the Competition.

The Online Business Negotiations (B2B) Championship was organized by the European Sales Championships and HAN University of Applied Sciences and was aimed at developing students’ practical skills in sales, negotiations and self-presentation in an international environment.

NUACA continuously encourages students’ participation in international competitions, creating ample opportunities for development, practical experience and achieving new victories.
