NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Recently, the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) held a congress in the USA, during which National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia submitted an application for academic membership in the Federation.

NUACA was unanimously voted as an academic member of the International Federation of Surveyors, while the RA Cadastre Committee – associate member.

The International Federation of Surveyors is a leading international organization representing the interests of surveyors worldwide. FIG was founded on 18 July, 1878, in Paris by delegates of the national associations of Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. It is a non-governmental organization recognized by the United Nations, representing more than 120 countries worldwide.

This is a great opportunity for the University, because a new stage of development and improvement of the professional field will be initiated, which will significantly improve the quality of specialists and services provided․ It will also become a new platform for specialists and students aimed at the development, upgrade, and improvement of their capacities and knowledge. Besides, the RA will have access to the International Community of Surveyors.
