NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

NUACA has won a grant programme within the framework of which it implements the SmartLab program. The purpose of the project named “Providing Intelligent Solutions for Modeling, Designing and Managing Engineering Systems and Increasing the Effectiveness of Academic Programmes by Adding Laboratory Test Equipment” is to contribute to:

• the improvement of the teaching-learning of relevant academic programmes for modeling, design and management of engineering systems,
• the development and commercialization of scientific-research activities,
• the involvement of scientific-research works in the educational process,
• the application of smart solutions and the expansion of the educational functions of the University and the strengthening of its capacities, by creating new laboratories and equipping the existing laboratory base with the latest test equipment with interdisciplinary use.

The programme is aimed at strengthening the connection between education and business research. It will contribute to the development of students’ practical skills, as well as to the improvement of existing academic programmes and the development of additional/continuing academic programmes. As a result, the learning process will be more effective and will especially contribute to the development of practical skills among students.
