University with a 100-Year History
Cooperation between the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia and Udine University of Italy has a history of years and a tendency to expand and develop.
Today, this cooperation has moved to a new level. The delegation of Udine University arrived in our university on a two-day working visit, comprising the Rector, Professor Alberto Felice de Toni, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Giorgio Albert, Executive of the Scientific International Affairs Anna Francjepane and professors Digran Digranyan and Mario Pesetta.
The members of the Italian delegation were honored with the warm and friendly reception by the rector and professors of our University and mentioned that they were happy to be in Armenia again. In his turn, Rector G. Galstyan underlined that each visit and signed agreement strongly invigorate the connection between the two universities.
The guests briefly presented their university’s educational activities, cooperation frameworks and, in particular, the fact of the agreement with our university.
Italians who have already become friends have not come empty-handed: Udine city guide book, tie with Udine University logo, medal, and picture.
After the gift exchange, the delegates from Udine University toured the university, got acquainted with labs and architecture and design studios, and then ratified the awaited “Student Exchange Agreement” within the framework of Erasmus +.
Under the agreement, it is planned to implement an exchange program between NUACA students and Udine university students studying in the construction and architecture curriculum in the field of education and research.
Today, the visit of the Italian delegation to Matenadaran, Garni Geghard, and tomorrow Tsitsernakaberd and Parajanov House-Museum are envisaged.
