NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

The final conference of the “All4R&D” project of “Erasmus+” programme was held, within the framework of which a monitoring visit was paid to National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia. During the visit, the observers got acquainted with the “Seismicity Research and Development Unit” under NUACA Chair of Building Structures, which was established within the framework of the “All4R&D” project of “Erasmus+” programme. Accordingly, business and strategic plans were developed for the above-mentioned unit-laboratory, equipment was purchased, as well as additional and continuing education courses of the Research and Development Unit were carried out by NUACA team members of the project.

Elena Dumova, the coordinator of the “All4R&D” project of the “Erasmus+” programме “Promoting Academia-Industry Alliances for Research and Development through Collaborative and Open Innovation Platform” and her representative group had a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Armen Shatvoryan, the Head of the Chair of Building Structures Tigran Dadayan, the Head of the Chair of Informatics, Computing Technology and Management Systems Mher Markosyan and with the Head of the Financial-Economic Department Paylak Karapetyan, discussing the issues of further strategic development and financing of the above-mentioned NUACA unit. The participants of the discussion expressed hope that the above mentioned laboratory will continue to operate smoothly even after the completion of the mentioned project.

The purpose of the “All4R&D” project was to contribute to the transfer of research, innovation, knowledge and technology in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia through the promotion of strategic, scientific-educational and business cooperation.
