NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

Due to the demand of railway construction and track facility specialists, on March 26, 2021, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the “National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia” Foundation and the “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC on the initiative of the “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC. The memorandum was ratified by the General Director of “South Caucasus Railway” CJSC Aleksey Melnikov and the Rector of NUACA, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yeghiazar Vardanyan.

According to the Memorandum, the academic program of “Construction of Railways, Track and Track Facilities” specialty is being reopened in the undergraduate studies of NUACA Faculty of Construction, which envisages staff training and additional training, implementation of scientific research and experimental projects, as well as joint supervision of students’ graduation and qualification works in this field.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia H.E. Mr. Sergey Kopirkin, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Karen Trchunyan, as well as the Deputy Director of the Russian House in Yerevan Atsamaz Bichenov were present at the ratification of the document. Before signing the Memorandum, the guests visited the University’s educational-scientific laboratories.
