NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

On March 15, 2021, a meeting was held with Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia. Rector, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Y. Vardanyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G. Stepanyan, Vice-Rector for International Relations V. Yedoyan and architect A. Minasyan attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, information on NUACA academic- scientific activities, the education of the citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran and cooperation with Iranian universities and organizations was presented to the Ambassador. In particular, the proposal of Babol Noshirvani University of Technology on academic-scientific cooperation, as well as cooperation issues with the University of Tehran, Sharif University of Technology and the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology of Iran were discussed.

NUACA has a wide scope of cooperation with universities and organizations of Iran, which includes a number of spheres: architecture, urban planning, cultural heritage, earthquake engineering, risk assessment and water systems.

Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri expressed his readiness to assist in establishing close academic-scientific cooperation with Iranian universities and organizations, concluding bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements, as well as carrying out the functions envisaged by them.

Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri gladly accepted the invitation to visit the University.
