Within the framework of the Francophonie Bimonthly, the Francophonie Center of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia hosted Ruzanna Ghaltaghchyan, Director of the Armenian Office of Interuniversity Cooperation and Digital Innovation of the the Francophone University Agency (AUF).
The aim of the informational visit was to introduce AUF functions to NUACA students, as well as academic and cultural regional programmes.
During the meeting, possible directions of cooperation within the framework of the new AUF strategy were discussed. Reference was also made to the Francophonie Sports and Cultural Games to be held in Armenia in 2027 and the possible involvement of University students in them.
In cooperation with the AUF Armenia office, the possibility of implementing a professional training programme was also outlined for students of the “Service” and “Tourism” specialties of the Faculty of Urban Economy and Ecology, as well as students of V. Brusov State University.
The results of the intra-university essay competition on the topic “If I spoke French…” held within the framework of the Francophonie Bimonthly were summarized. The authors of the three best works were awarded incentive prizes, stimulating the teaching of the French language and the desire to study it more deeply.
