Within the framework of the two-year program between the Arctic University of Norway and the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction, an interdisciplinary meeting was held at our University on September 27-30.
The delegation of the Arctic University was comprised of the Dean of the Faculty of Construction, Energy and Material Science Sorenson Byorn, Head of Building Materials Laboratory Boyarn Buyl, Project Coordinator Yijon Sun, scientific director Mohammad Mustafa.
Vice-Rector for International Relations V. Edoyan, Head of the Chair of Informatics, Computer Science and Management M. Markosyan, Head of the Chair of Manufacturing Technology of Constructional Materials, Products and Structures A. Arzumanyan, Head of the Chair of ventilation, gas and heat supply A. Karamyan and Head of the Chair of architectural design and design of architectural environment Karen Rashidyats were participating in the discussions at our university.
As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached that two students from NUACA for the purpose of research were sent to the Arctic University of Norway during the 2018-2019 academic year about 1 month duration, as well as to develop 3 joint educational programs in energy saving, building materials, sustainable construction and architectural design. Steps were taken in the future jointly establish a licensed laboratories.
It should be noted that two-year program between the Arctic University of Norway and the Armenian National University of Architecture and Construction is expected to be completed in November 2019.
