Recently, the joint events, organized by Europa Nostra and European Heritage Hub and planned to be held for 4 days, have taken place in Armenia. Ambassador of France to Armenia Olivier Decottignies, EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos, Vice-President of Europa Nostra Cristina Loglio, Member of Europa Nostra Council Gayane Kaznati, Project Manager of European Heritage Hub Manon Richard, representatives from the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and others participated in the Events. From NUACA, Head of NUACA Chair of Theory, History and Heritage of Architecture, PhD in Architecture, Professor Emma Harutyunyan, lecturers and students participated in the Event.
Within the framework of the Project, meetings with relevant representatives of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, local non-governmental organizations and embassies, as well as visits to various historical and cultural places, guest houses, TUMO Center and NUACA were conducted.
We would like to remind you that the French-Armenian Scientific-Archaeological Studies for the Preservation of Ererouyk project was awarded with the European Heritage Award in the “Research” category in 2023, and today the bronze commemorative plaque of the European Heritage Awards was installed in Ererouyk.
Within the framework of the Project, the Committee for the Defense of Fundamental Rights of the People of Artsakh (Artsakh Union) and the Armenian Cultural Heritage Committee of the Armenian Society of Fellows (ASOF) organized a networking event for the preservation and popularization of the cultural heritage of Artsakh. The Events ended with active round table discussions.
