Within the framework of the International Conference on “Civil and Environmental Engineering: Yerevan 2025” John Carruthers, Director of Graduate Studies in Regional Sciences in the Department of City and Regional Planning of Cornell University, one of the world’s leading universities, and Editor-in-Chief of the internationally renowned Journal of Science Growth and Change, arrived in Yerevan.
John Carruthers visited National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) and had a meeting with the University’s rector Manuk Barseghyan. During the meeting, they discussed the University’s activities, the ways to develop international relations and the scientific environment.
Rector Manuk Barseghyan noted: “We are pleased to host a scholar of such a high level here at NUACA. Your presence is of great importance to our students and researchers, as it provides a valuable opportunity to acquire scientific thinking and international experience.”
John Carruthers also met with the University’s PhD students, researchers, and students.
Ahead of the Conference, on October 22 at 14:00, John Carruthers will conduct a master class in NUACA Hall 2023 on the topic: “Research, Publishing, and Career Building: Strategies for Effective Outcomes.”
