NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF ARMENIA

After the international conference entitled “Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage as a Means of Effective Dialogue among States”, the invited specialists delivered lectures for the students of the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia on the topics of heritage preservation and the identity and preservation of historical cities.

Yvon Cottier from the National Superior School of Architecture Clermont-Ferrand presented a number of projects implemented by him, in particular, the research and design works of the modernization of historical buildings in various cities in the Auvergne Region.

Gaianè Casnati from the Polytechnic University of Milan presented the reinforcement project of the Yereruyk Temple, and architect Andrey Ivanov delivered a lecture on the issues of preserving the architecture of the historical cities of Armenia – Gyumri, Goris, Yerevan, as well as Kond and Stepanakert.
